Okwawu United FC have settled on the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman as their home venue for the 2026/27 Access Bank Division One League season.
The club will stage their Zone III home fixtures at the Dansoman facility as they prepare for what promises to be a fiercely contested campaign in Ghana’s second-tier competition.
Carl Reindorf Park boasts a rich footballing history, having previously served as the home ground of former Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals FC.
The Scientific Soccer Lads were long associated with the venue before it was sold in 2023 to John Peter Amewu, the former Member of Parliament for the Hohoe Constituency.
The facility, which has hosted numerous football matches over the years, is named after renowned Ghanaian historian Carl Christian Reindorf, whose celebrated historical work remains an important part of Ghana’s literary heritage.
The decision to use the Dansoman facility provides the club with a familiar and established football venue as they plot their course for the new season.
The club will be keen to turn Carl Reindorf Park into a formidable fortress, with home form expected to play a crucial role in their ambitions in Division One League Zone III.
Okwawu United will now shift their focus towards preparations for the new campaign, with their supporters eagerly anticipating the club’s first competitive outing at their adopted home.
