Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Kwaku Yeboah has completed a permanent move to Romanian club CS Corvinul Hunedoara from Danish Superliga side Brøndby IF, bringing an end to his two-year stint in Denmark.
The 23-year-old returns to Romania, where he previously featured for CFR Cluj before earning a move to Brøndby in the summer of 2023 following a series of impressive performances.
Yeboah found opportunities limited during his time with the Danish outfit, making 10 first-team appearances. In a bid to secure regular playing time, he spent periods on loan at Vejle Boldklub in Denmark and Swedish Allsvenskan side Halmstads BK.
The transfer marks a return to familiar territory for the former Young Apostles forward, who initially caught the attention of European scouts with his exploits in the Access Bank Division One League before completing his switch to CFR Cluj.
A former Ghana U-23 (Black Meteors) international, Yeboah remains one of Ghana’s promising attacking talents and will be aiming to relaunch his career with consistent performances at Corvinul Hunedoara.
The Romanian club will be hoping the Ghanaian’s experience across three European leagues strengthens their attacking options as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Yeboah’s move also provides him with another opportunity to rediscover his goalscoring form and continue his development as he seeks to make a strong impression in Romanian football once again.
