The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has confirmed receiving a petition calling for the suspension of former Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s spokesperson, Kwasi Kwarteng.
According to a letter signed by Director of Finance and Administration William Yamoah, the National Executive Committee (NEC) has been tasked with reviewing the matter in accordance with its constitutional procedures.
The NPP assured petitioners that their concerns have been duly noted and reiterated its commitment to upholding the values and structures of the Party.
