Mr. Anthony Yanney Essien, the New Patriotic Party branch Chairman of Baku in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region has pitched camp with the National Democratic Congress barely four months to the general elections.
According to him, he is prepared to campaign rigorously to see the NPP voted out of power because the party has done the people of Ghana harm than good.
Addressing an enormous mass after a health walk in the Ngalekpole-Baku electoral area, he announced his defection, the former NPP branch Chairman stated that Ghanaians will have themselves to blame if they vote Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party to break the eight.
