NEWS IN: Former Black Galaxies Coach Annor Walker Reported Dead

Technical Director of Ghana Premier League side Vision Football Club, Annor Walker, has reportedly passed away after battling a short illness.

The 65-year-old gained national recognition during his time with Accra Great Olympics, where he transformed the Dade Boys into a competitive side, earning plaudits for his tactical discipline and calm personality.

Coach Annor Walker’s illustrious career began with Nungua U-17 before moving on to Nania FC, Kpando Hearts of Lions, Tema Youth, Berekum Chelsea, Accra Great Olympics, FC Samartex 1996, and finally Vision FC.

In 2021, he was appointed head coach of the Black Stars B (Local Black Stars) and later took charge of the Black Galaxies, leading them to qualification for the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria.

Annor Walker was widely respected for his ability to build disciplined squads, spot young talents, and instill a structured brand of football.
