NDC releases programme of activities ahead of presidential inauguration on January 7

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has planned a number of events to commemorate the swearing-in of Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the president-elect, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

A victory walk in Accra, a Ghana triumph concert to be performed in the University of Ghana Sports Stadium’s forecourt, and victory celebrations in all constituencies are among the events planned for Saturday, January 4, 2025, through Sunday, January 12, 2025.

Other events include the National Thanksgiving Service on Sunday in Independence Square, the Presidential Inauguration of Mr. Mahama at Independence Square, and national Muslim prayers at the National Mosque in Kanda and all mosques nationwide.

The planned activities to be organised by the NDC ahead of the swearing-in of Mr Mahama as President of the Ghana was announced in a press statement issued and signed by the party’s General Secretary, Mr Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.
