The National Democratic Congress (NDC) through Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has dismissed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s call for a debate with former President John Dramani Mahama on the economy.
According to the former General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the NDC does not engage in debates with “fools and liars”.
Asiedu Nketia, citing his life experience, emphasized that debating a fool or a liar is futile. He acknowledged Bawumia’s intelligence but accused him of being a liar, particularly regarding his own economic policies.
General Mosquito asserted that Bawumia has consistently misled Ghanaians, making it impossible for Mahama to engage in a productive debate with him. This stance has sparked a heated debate about the role of truth and honesty in political discourse.
The NDC’s refusal to debate has raised questions about the party’s strategy and willingness to engage in public discourse.
Meanwhile, the ruling party has yet to respond to Asiedu Nketia’s assertions.
