The council of elders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will convene at 11:00 hours on Thursday, March 7, 2024 to consider the choice of a running mates of its Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama ahead of 2024 elections.
A statement issued by Mr. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the party, said on Tuesday party received a formal communication from its Presidential candidate regarding the selection of his running mate in accordance with Article 45 of the NDC Constitution.
The National Executive Committee of the NDC will on the same day meet at 14:00 hours to further consider the nomination of Mahama’s running mate.
The statement announced that the NDC was confident that the running-mate would bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and dedication to its campaign.
