Medeama SC centre back Nurudeen Abdulai has received a last-minute invite to join the Black Stars in Marrakech, Morocco for their upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.

Abdulai exceptional performance in both League and CAF champions League have caught the attention of the technical team.

He earned his debut call-up last year during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.

With 30 apperances and three goals for Medeama last season, along with four MVP’s, he has showcased his value to the team.

This season, the 19-year old defender has starred for the Tarkwa-based club in both league and CAF Champions League. He has 12 league appearances and 7 in the Champions league.

The Black Stars are set to clash with Nigeria on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Grande Stade Marrakech, followed by a match against Uganda at the same venue four days later.
