Ekuzoa Sporting Academy delivered a performance full of determination and attacking flair to claim a hard-fought 3:2 victory over Tano Stars Football Club at the Eikwe Astroturf on Sunday afternoon, in a Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) Division II League-Zone 2A Matchday 18 clash.
Striker Seth Aidoo emerged as the hero of the day, netting a superb brace that included a decisive penalty, guiding the Academy to a memorable triumph in a contest defined by relentless flow swings.

Aidoo opened the scoring with a composed finish, giving the Dadeɛ ɛnzulo senle lads an early advantage, only for the visitors to respond swiftly and restore parity. The hosts regained the lead when General Captain Abednego Dotsey Atakpa struck with authority, putting Ekuzoa ahead once more. Tano Stars, undeterred, levelled again, keeping the contest delicately poised and intensifying the drama.
The decisive moment came when Ekuzoa were awarded a penalty. With nerves of steel, Seth Aidoo converted from the spot to complete his brace and hand his side a lead they would fiercely protect until the final whistle.
Despite the visitors’ efforts to find a third equaliser, Ekuzoa Sporting Academy demonstrated tactical discipline and resilience, ensuring all three points remained in Eikwe.
