Lawrence Gadeseh was adjudged NASCO Man of the Match following Basake Holy Stars’ hard-fought 1-0 triumph over Bechem United at the AAK III Sports Arena in Ampain on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Gadeseh earned the prestigious individual accolade after an impressive outing in a fiercely contested Ghana Premier League Matchday 7 encounter, as the Coconut Grove outfit capitalised on a decisive second-half opportunity to secure maximum points on home soil.

The unbeatable team displayed commendable tactical discipline and competitive resolve to overcome their opponents, with Bismark Teye emerging as the match-winner after converting a crucial penalty in the second half.

The decisive incident occurred when winger Oliver Kwaw Dwokoler was brought down inside the penalty area, compelling the referee to point to the spot and award Basake Holy Stars a golden opportunity to break the deadlock.

Teye assumed responsibility for the consequential spot-kick and demonstrated exemplary composure, dispatching the ball into the net to hand the hosts a precious advantage and galvanise the home faithful.

Having seized the initiative, Basake Holy Stars subsequently marshalled their defensive resources with admirable discipline, thwarting Bechem United’s attempts to restore parity and preserving their slender lead until the final whistle.
