Ghana’s Beach Soccer referee Jasper Robinson will take part in the newly introduced FIFA monthly online training sessions for new Beach Soccer Referees for 2023/2024.

These training sessions aim to equip Beach Soccer Referees with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in future competitions.

The Football governing body, FIFA seeks to provide comprehensive training and preparation for upcoming competitions, enhance the referees’ skills, knowledge and overall performance to ensure success on the field. The training sessions which will take place once or twice a month, will focus on different aspects of preparation, including but not limited to: • Physical conditioning, tactical work amongst others.

About Jasper Robinson

Jasper Robinson is the first Ghanaian FIFA Beach Soccer Referee, who earned his badge in January, 2024.

He hails from Elmina in the Central Region and officiated the 2022 Beach Soccer FA Cup final and the Champion of Champions in 2023.

He started his Beach Soccer officiating career in 2019/2020 season when he attended the FIFA Beach Soccer Referees Course at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Before that endeavor, he officiated in the National U-15 League in 2016. He has now been certified by FIFA and will be looking forward to officiating in CAF and FIFA organized competitions.
