Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko Anyars has revealed that his side aims to assert control in their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter against second-placed Aduana FC on Friday, February 13.
The league leaders will host Aduana FC in the opening fixture of Week 22, and coach Tanko emphasised the importance of balancing control with attacking intent.
“Aduana FC come with a very good squad and a solid technical team behind them. Playing at home, we intend to control the game while consistently creating chances to score. It won’t be easy, but I am confident the boys are ready to secure the points,” Tanko told Medi TV.
He added, “Both teams are fairly even. We also give teams a headache in away fixtures. We have our game plan, we’ve studied them, and we know how they will play. We will need to give extra to retain the points here.”
The Week 22 showdown between Medeama SC and Aduana FC is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm at TNA Stadium.
