In the wake of government’s proposed plans for the establishment of petroleum hub in the Jomoro Municipal, major forces have come to oppose it because of the supposed irregularities attached to it.
One of it is the land issue which popped up as a result of the Petroleum Hub Project with over 20,000 acres of land for it processes.
It is this that Coalition of Concerned Nzema People scheduled a press conference on the theme, “Our Land, Our Destiny & The Petroleum Hub” for today, July 9, 2024.
But unfortunately the beginning of the event was met was grounds of chaos and misunderstanding among few members who were present.
