In the wake of the controversies about the Ghana government’s arrangement of establishing the petroleum hub project in the Jomoro Municipal of the Western Region of Ghana, this initiative has suffered many resistance by some members within the municipal.
While this Petroleum Hub Project is seen as a blessing to some members, others do not agree to the project taking into account the irregularities and the greater environmental challenges this may pose in connection to the 20,000 acres of land which will be used for this project.
An audio has been received from an unidentified person asserting that if the government does not reconsider its decision about the project, they will fight themselves with cutlasses.
The reasons behind this proposed act, according to the audio source is to protect the lands from foreigners.
