The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Hon. Joseph Kwasi Armah Agyekum, has taken decisive steps toward improving digital connectivity in the district by leading a technical delegation from the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) to inspect network facilities in the Aluku and Adubrim communities.
The inspection exercise was undertaken as part of the district’s broader strategy to identify and resolve persistent communication network challenges affecting several communities. Joined by GIFEC officials and local representatives, the DCE conducted a detailed on-site assessment aimed at evaluating the state of existing infrastructure and exploring practical interventions to enhance network coverage and reliability.
Renowned for his energetic and results-driven leadership, Hon. Agyekum stressed that efficient communication systems are critical to modern development. He noted that dependable network connectivity plays a vital role in boosting economic activity, strengthening security, improving access to education and healthcare, and enhancing social interaction.
