Ghana needs an upgrade, not a reset – Bawumia tells Mahama

According to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ghana’s economy currently requires an upgrade rather than a reset.

This seems to be a reference to something that National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Mahama has been saying as part of his campaign platform.

The administration admits that Ghana’s economy has not been in the finest of forms. Mr. Mahama has been advocating for a reset for a reason.

Speaking to the media at his first press conference in Accra, Dr. Bawumia, however, disagreed with Mr. Mahama, the front-runner.

“What this country needs is an upgrade, not reset. And if given the mandate, I will roll out the measures outlined in our recently launched manifesto to revamp the economy,” he stated.
