The Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 Local Scholarship Programme, offering financial assistance to qualified Ghanaian students pursuing Diploma and Undergraduate programmes in accredited tertiary institutions across the country.
The scholarship initiative, which forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility and commitment to human capital development, aims to support brilliant but financially challenged students in achieving their academic aspirations.
According to Ghana Gas, the online application portal will officially open on July 15, 2026, and close on August 15, 2026.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Ghanaian citizen.
- Have an admission letter from an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana.
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme.
- Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Complete the online application form.
Required documents
Applicants will be required to submit the following documents:
- Admission letter.
- SHS/Vocational/Technical certificate.
- Ghana Card.
- Recent passport-sized photograph.
- Examination results slip or academic transcript (for continuing students).
- Any other relevant supporting documents.

- Visit www.ghanagas.com.gh.
- Navigate to the “Sustainable Business” section.
- Click on “Company Scholarship”.
- Complete and submit the online application form.
Ghana Gas has advised applicants to carefully read the scholarship guidelines available on the application portal before submitting their applications.
Important notice
The company stressed that all correspondence regarding the scholarship will be conducted directly between Ghana Gas and applicants.
It also cautioned that applications submitted outside the official scholarship portal will not be considered, while any form of misrepresentation will lead to disqualification, withdrawal of any scholarship award, and possible prosecution.
