Former Nzema Kotoko Coach Mallam Yahaya Joins Techiman Liberty Youth FC

Experienced Ghanaian football coach, Mallam Yahaya has taken up a new challenge after being confirmed as the head coach of Division One League Zone One side Techiman Liberty Youth FC.

The seasoned tactician joins the club on a one-year deal, bringing his wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Techiman-based side ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Coach Yahaya’s appointment comes shortly after parting ways with Bekwai Heroes Football Club, now operating under the name Ashantigold Football Club LTD.

His tenure at Bekwai Heroes was marked by steady progress and development, qualities that Techiman Liberty Youth FC will be hoping he brings to their setup.

The club, currently competing in the highly competitive Zone One of Ghana’s Division One League, sees his arrival as a major step toward building a stronger squad and securing a place among the division’s top contenders.

Throughout his coaching career, Mallam Yahaya has managed several well-known clubs in Ghana. His coaching journey includes stints at King Faisal FC, Cornerstone FC, Elmina Sharks FC, New Edubiase United, Unistar Academy, Nzema Kotoko FC, and Kwamo Future Stars FC.

With each role, he has built a reputation for nurturing young talent and instilling tactical discipline, making him a fitting choice for a club with strong ambitions like Techiman Liberty Youth FC.

With his new role confirmed, Yahaya is expected to begin preparations immediately as the club looks to improve on past performances and mount a serious challenge in the upcoming season.
