A fire tender responding to a blaze in Buipe, Savannah Region, was involved in an accident at the scene, authorities have confirmed.

The fire crew on board was promptly transported to the Buipe Government Hospital to receive medical attention. Meanwhile, the fire continued to rage, with residents struggling to contain the inferno in the absence of the fire service vehicle.
Officials from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) were also present, providing emergency response support and assisting affected residents in managing the situation.
