Following his untimely death, the family of Stephen King Amoah, a 38-year-old Ghanaian immigration officer, is pleading with the Ghana Police Service to ensure prompt justice.
Amoah left home on July 3 to go to Ashongman Estate to meet a friend who had called to collect money. He never came back. After being reported missing, his partially burned body was found five days later at Abuom Junction, close to Kwabenya, in the Greater Accra Region.

The family reports that Bright Aweh, a crucial suspect, has been taken into custody. According to investigations, Aweh allegedly invited Stephen Amoah to the meeting and was the last to get in touch with him.
The late officer leaves behind a wife and a four-year-old son.

Osei Mensah Lucky-Dan, Stephen King Amoah’s nephew who lived with him until his death, revealed in an exclusive interview with Citi News on Thursday, July 10, that the case has been postponed to July 23, 2025, in the Kwabenya Circuit Court.
“The court has adjourned the case to 23 July 2025, so we will be at Kwabenya Circuit Court on 23 July to plead with the court to prevail in Justice for my Late Uncle. My Uncle had no issues with anyone. He is of the jovial type. He is someone whom you can easily fall in love with when you see him.”
