Bechem United have begun negotiations to secure the services of former Elmina Sharks winger, Benjamin Tweneboah, according to media reports.
The Ghana Premier League outfit is keen on reinforcing its attacking options during the second transfer window and has identified Tweneboah as a prime target, with discussions currently ongoing between all parties involved.
The 31-year-old wide man is no stranger to Ghanaian football, having also featured prominently Aduana FC. His wealth of top-flight experience is viewed as a valuable asset as Bechem United seek to add depth, maturity, and quality to their squad.
Tweneboah is currently a free agent after parting ways with Senglea Athletic Football Club in Malta following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2024/25 season. His availability has sparked interest, with Bechem United moving swiftly to explore the possibility of bringing him back to Ghana.
While talks are at an advanced yet non-conclusive stage, optimism remains high that an agreement could be reached should negotiations progress smoothly.
