Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have completed the signing of former Asante Kotoko and Future Stars goalkeeper Fatao Seidu on a permanent transfer.

The young goalkeeper has penned a two-year contract with the Miners as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the Ghanaian top flight for the 2026/27 season.

Seidu arrives with valuable experience despite his age, having previously been part of Asante Kotoko before featuring for Future Stars, where he continued his development as one of the country’s promising young goalkeepers.

His arrival is expected to boost competition in AshantiGold’s goalkeeping department as the Obuasi-based club prepares for the challenges of life back in the Ghana Premier League.
