The Ellembelle District Assembly, under the leadership of the District Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Armah Agyekum, in collaboration with the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, has held a Donations and Support Event at the Aiyinase Health Center on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
The event featured the presentation of GH₵1,000,000 in financial support to tertiary students from the district to assist in their education. Additionally, livelihood empowerment items were distributed to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to promote inclusion and self-reliance.
As part of the initiative, a pickup vehicle and motorbikes were handed over to various departments of the Assembly to enhance operational efficiency, while start-up kits were presented to local artisans to encourage youth entrepreneurship and technical skills development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Joseph Armah Agyekum reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to promoting education, empowering the youth, and improving the quality of life for residents in Ellembelle.
He commended Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah for his continued support and collaboration in advancing development initiatives across the district.
The program forms part of ongoing efforts by the Assembly and its partners to empower the youth, strengthen local institutions, and enhance livelihoods within the Ellembelle District.
