The Ellembelle District Assembly, in partnership with the Office of the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, is set to commission a newly completed Junior High School (JHS) classroom block at Mandugbane, in a significant move aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure in the district.

The commissioning ceremony, scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., is expected to bring together key stakeholders, including government officials, traditional authorities, education sector representatives, community leaders, parents, and residents.

The newly constructed facility is designed to provide a modern and conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers while addressing longstanding infrastructure challenges that have impacted effective teaching and learning in the community.

The project forms part of broader educational development initiatives being championed by the Ellembelle District Assembly under the leadership of District Chief Executive (DCE) Joseph Kwasi Armah Agyekum, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah.

According to authorities, the investment reflects a commitment to expanding access to quality education by providing essential facilities that support improved academic performance and enhance the overall learning experience of students.
