Basake Holy Stars’ highly-rated goalkeeper, Dubi Tayi Kassi, has been named the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Goalkeeper of the Month for March, following a string of outstanding performances that underlined his growing reputation in Ghanaian football.

The 20-year-old shot-stopper was in exceptional form throughout the month, keeping four consecutive clean sheets in four league appearances against Heart of Lions, Hearts of Oak, Young Apostles, and Karela United. His composure, reflexes, and command of his area proved decisive as Basake Holy Stars secured two wins and two draws in that run.

Dubi’s remarkable defensive record also saw him go 540 minutes without conceding a goal, a run that eventually ended in Week 29 when Basake Holy Stars suffered a 2-0 defeat to Nations FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Stadium in Abrankese.

Despite the setback, the young goalkeeper has been one of the standout performers of the season, boasting an impressive 13 clean sheets in 24 GPL appearances, a testament to his consistency and rapid development between the posts.
