Debibi United bolster defence with signing of Paul Kwame

Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Debibi United FC have strengthened their defensive department with the signing of centre-back Nathaniel Henry Paul Kwame on a two-year deal ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The defender joins the Victory Family on a free transfer as the club intensifies preparations for their historic maiden campaign in Ghana’s top flight.

Kwame’s arrival is expected to add stability and experience to Debibi United’s backline, with the club counting on his composure, physical strength and defensive awareness as they prepare to compete against Ghana’s elite clubs.

The 28-year-old brings valuable experience to the newly-promoted side, having previously featured for Liberty Professionals and Hohoe United, where he gained significant exposure in Ghanaian football.

In an official announcement, Debibi United welcomed their latest acquisition and expressed their excitement about his future contribution to the club.

“Welcome to the Victory Family, Nathaniel Henry Paul Kwame. We wish you every success during your stay at Debibi United,” the club stated.

Debibi United have been active in the transfer market following their promotion, with the club focused on building a competitive squad capable of making a lasting impression in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The signing of Kwame forms part of the club’s broader strategy to blend experience and quality as they embark on a new chapter in their history.
