He works at a washing bay in Nzema Aiyinasi, in Ghana’s Western Region. The young Ghanaian, whose real name is Kelvin Kaku Sobo, made headlines when videos of him joyfully and freely performing a song by Davido and Black Sherif at his washing bay site went viral.
Following the viral video of him singing Davido’s new song, it caught the attention of the Nigerian Afrobeat Superstar when reposted on his Instagram handle.
In a comment section on the said video on Instagram, Davido wrote: “5K US for you OLS contact @deekay_dmw”. His kind gesture has since been admired by many, showering the Grammy nominee with gracious remarks.
When it comes to the use of Davido and Omah Lay’s new song on TikTok, Ananzo Official’s video is the most popular.
The 34-second video of him singing Davido’s new song posted on TikTok has generated over 1.5 million likes with over 20,000 comments and over 76,000 shares.
Since then, internet users have flooded his post’s comment area with congratulations and expressed gratitude to Davido for his thoughtful gesture.
