FC Samartex has officially confirmed Christopher Ennin as their new Head Coach following a mutual parting of ways with Coach Amadu Nurudeen.
Ennin, a former coach of Berekum Chelsea, is known for transforming the club into one of the top teams in the Ghanaian Premier League.
After leaving his role at Berekum Chelsea, rumors circulated that Ennin was set to join Accra Hearts of Oak, but the deal never materialized, he later moved to Moneni Pirates FC in Eswatini. The young gaffer mutually ended his stay with the Manzini-based outfits, before penning a deal with the Timber Giants.
Ennin will make his debut on the bench this Sunday as FC Samartex hosts Nations FC in Matchday 15 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nsenkyire Arena, a match that promises to be intense.
Last season, Nations FC broke Samartex’s unbeaten run at their fortress with a narrow win, adding extra motivation for FC Samartex to make a statement.
The pressure is on Samartex, having lost three consecutive games in their last outings, and they will be eager to deliver a strong performance and secure all three points for their supporters.
With Ennin’s arrival, FC Samartex is hopeful of revitalizing their form and returning to winning ways in front of their home fans.
