The Disciplinary Committee has rendered a decisive ruling in the protest lodged by Basake Holy Stars FC. The committee announced that the protest by Basake Holy Stars FC was successful, while the protest by Sefwi All Stars FC was dismissed.
According to the ruling, Sefwi All Stars FC instigated actions that led to the abrupt end of their match, resulting in the club forfeiting the match under Article 33(1)(b) of the Division One League Regulations. Consequently, Basake Holy Stars FC is awarded three points and three goals as stipulated in Articles 33(2) and 34(12).
Furthermore, Sefwi All Stars FC will lose an additional three points from their accumulated points from previous matches, in accordance with Article 33(5)(a).
Parties dissatisfied with this decision have one day from the notification to appeal to the Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
