Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Ghana’s vice president, has received praise from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who described him as the best vice president the country has ever had.
Since 2017, Dr. Bawumia has worked with President Akufo-Addo to implement a number of important policies and programmes that have greatly aided in the growth of the country.
President Akufo-Addo spoke on Tuesday during the introduction of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Dr. Bawumia’s running mate, in Kumasi. He affirmed his complete faith in the Vice President’s competence and leadership.
President Akufo-Addo praised Dr Bawumia’s dedication, integrity, and commitment to serving the nation.
He emphasised the Vice President’s unceasing efforts to further the government’s goal and his crucial function in the creation and implementation of policies.
For this reason, he pleaded with Ghanaians to back Dr. Bawumia in his bid to succeed him as president.
