REPORTS: Basake Holy Stars Request Adopting Nsenkyire Sports Arena After Nzema Kotoko Court Debacle

Ghana Premier League side, Basake Holy Stars are soliciting the possibility of relocating the club to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena due to the life Patron of Nzema Kotoko, Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III’s interlocutory injunction on their current venue, Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III Sports Arena in Ampain.

The Unbeatable club has already had it main venue, Crosby Awuah Memorial Park deemed unfit for top-flight football in the country, hence their decision to move to their alternative venue in Ampain.

In light of the ongoing saga, Basake Holy Stars have requested moving their home fixtures to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi. The move would impact the club’s scheduled home matches for the first round of the 2025-26 season.

The club has reportedly engaged in discussions with the various stakeholders regarding the potential relocation and is currently in advanced stages.

The Facilities at Samreboi has already been approved by the Ghana Football Association’s Club Licensing Board.
