Basake Holy Stars Begin Pre-Season Today at Sanzule

Ghana Premier League side Basake Holy Stars will officially begin their pre-season training today, July 28, 2025, at the Sanzule-Krisan Astroturf, signaling the start of intense preparations for the much-anticipated 2025/26 league season.

Following a period of rest and recovery, players and technical staff are expected to report to camp with renewed energy, focus, and determination to hit the ground running. The pre-season program will emphasize physical conditioning, tactical drills, and overall squad assessment as the club looks to fine-tune every department ahead of what promises to be a challenging campaign.

Several young talents and potential new signings are also expected to join the squad during this period, as the team works to bolster its depth and competitiveness. This early start reflects the club’s ambition to build on last season’s performance and make a stronger, more meaningful impact in the league.

Management is optimistic that a well-structured and disciplined pre-season will lay the foundation for consistent results when the season officially begins. Supporters of Basake Holy Stars are fully behind the team, eagerly anticipating an exciting and competitive season filled with positive outcomes on the pitch.

The Sanzule-Krisan Astroturf edifice, where the pre-season is being held, was constructed by the ENI Foundation in 2023. ENI is a globally integrated energy company operating in 69 countries. It has been present in Ghana since 2009 and is currently the lead operator of the Offshore Cape Three Points Project, in partnership with Vitol Upstream and GNPC.
