FC Samartex 1996 midfielder Augustine Kofi Ofori Kakadinho has returned to full training after recovering from an injury that kept him on the sidelines for several weeks.
Ofori sustained the injury during Samartex’s 1-1 draw with Karela United in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 2 fixture at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi. The former Anokyi United and Nzema Kotoko playmaker was forced off early in that encounter, raising concerns among fans and teammates.
Following a successful rehabilitation process supervised by the club’s medical department, Ofori has now been declared fully fit and has rejoined his teammates in training ahead of the upcoming league matches. His return is a significant boost for head coach Christopher Enin and his technical team, who are keen to bolster their midfield options as the season progresses.
Ofori’s comeback is expected to inject renewed creativity and balance into the team’s midfield setup.
FC Samartex are currently stepping up preparations for their next Ghana Premier League clash against Hohoe United, and Ofori’s return is viewed as a timely reinforcement as the Samreboi-based side seeks to sustain their strong start to the campaign.
