Hon. MacDonald Kwofie, Assembly Member for the Sanzule/Bakanta Electoral Area and Ellembelle Municipal Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has marked his birthday with a heartwarming outreach programme, extending support to elderly residents across communities within his electoral area.
The initiative, organised to commemorate his birthday on July 6, saw the presentation of assorted gifts to senior citizens in Sanzule, Ewe Town, Old Bakanta, and New Bakanta. The exercise was aimed at recognising the invaluable contributions of the elderly to their families and communities while sharing the joy of his special day with them.
Speaking during the outreach, Hon. MacDonald said the welfare of the elderly remains close to his heart, stressing that the occasion offered him an opportunity to express gratitude to those who have laid the foundation for the development of the communities.
