ASSEMBLY MEMBER DONATES CHOP BOX TO SUPPORT OVER EIGHTY JHS GRADUATES

As part of social intervention,
assembly member for asanta kotoklo electoral area in the ellembelle district of the western region, Hon Patrick Assuah has donated chop box to eight two (82) students who wrote basic education certificate examination this year in the area.

Beneficial communities included Ankobra, Asanta kotoklo, Bobrama and Asanta North respectively.

Last year, all the seventy students who completed junior high school received chop box and Bible each.

Speaking on behalf of the students at the ceremony held at ankobra, Mr Michael Armah Aryeetey, the school improvement support officer (SISO)who represented director of education for ellembelle Mr Wilfred Katey Adodoadji praised Assembly member for the gesture

For his part, Hon Patrick Assuah expressed his profound gratitude to those who donated to support the project especially Ankobra beach resort, Ankobra bridge hotel and Hon. kwasi Bonzoh, the district chief executive for Ellembelle and Nana Odikro Nkrumah in the area.

He also appealed to non governmental organizations, philanthropists, government officials and individuals to support the project come next year.

In attendance at the ceremony were Mr Joel Abekah, manager of ankobra Beach, teachers, current and former headmasters, chiefs, managers from various institutions, education directorate and students.
