Anokyi United Supports Evans Erzoah’s Recovery

Anokyi United Football Club has once again demonstrated the true essence of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility, reaffirming its identity as a family that extends far beyond the football pitch.

In a heartfelt show of solidarity, the club’s management and players paid a morale-boosting visit to one of their own, underscoring the strong bond that defines Anokyi United. The delegation was led by club officials Michael Arthur Appiah and Edward Ackah Bekoe, and was accompanied by members of the playing squad, Abednego Dotsey Atakpa and Felix Owusu.

The visit was in honour of key midfielder Evans Erzoah, fondly known as Walcott, who has been courageously battling illness over the past year. The presence of the team was aimed at lifting his spirits and reassuring him of the club’s unwavering support as he continues his journey toward full recovery.

As a further demonstration of care and commitment, Anokyi United presented Evans Erzoah with a generous financial donation, an undisclosed sum intended to support him during this challenging period. This compassionate gesture speaks volumes about the club’s commitment to the welfare of its players, both on and off the field.

Evans Erzoah remains a revered figure within the club and the wider football fraternity. His exceptional talent and dedication were recognised in 2019 when he was crowned Best Young Player in Nzemaland at the Domestic Sports GH Awards. He also played a pivotal role in Anokyi United’s historic success at the 2019 Ellembelle Kundum Gala, where his influence and outstanding performances were instrumental in securing the championship.
