Alonwoba Family Head Accuses Maaha Beach Resort of Owing Compensation for Land Acquisition (Video)

Mr. Dominic Awortwe, the head of the Royal Alonwoba Family of Aiyinasi and Anokyi, has accused the management of Maaha Beach Resort of failing to pay compensation owed to his family for land acquired by the company.

According to Mr. Awortwe, the prestigious resort, located in Anokyi, was established on family land for which full financial settlement has not been made. Speaking in a video statement, he alleged that despite several attempts to retrieve the money due to the family, he has been met with threats from the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Frank Buah.

“Anytime I ask for what rightfully belongs to my family, I am threatened by the CEO,” Mr. Awortwe claimed, calling on relevant authorities to intervene and ensure fairness in the matter.

The Royal Alonwoba family maintains that they have been patient and cooperative throughout the years but now feel compelled to speak out due to the continued delays in settlement.

Efforts to reach the management of Maaha Beach Resort for their response to the allegations proved unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.

The issue has sparked public interest, with some community members urging both parties to pursue dialogue and legal mediation to prevent escalation.
