The leader and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has made bold statements to conduct forensic audio into the illegal printing of money by the Bank of Ghana (BoG) which according to him was used to finance the ‘corrupt’ Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government.
Mr. Mahama made these statements when he attended the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day at Nkroful in the Ellembelle District.
He was optimistic that his party would be voted into power to end the ‘Eight’ years of economic mismanagement by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government.
According to Mr. Mahama, he believes that the illegal printing of money by the BoG caused hyperinflation which pushed over 850,000 Ghanaians into poverty in 2022.
