There is currently a tense situation at the Ghana National Gas Company Limited (GNGCL) headquarters in Accra, where people who are believed to be National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have reportedly assembled.
A substantial security response has been triggered by the incident, and both police and soldiers have been sent to the area to keep the peace.
The mob tried to break inside the GNGCL building, according to eyewitnesses, and a struggle with security officers resulted.
