The Ellembele District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh affectionally known as 34 K-WA and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives have been accused of engaging in illegal mining (galamsey) in the district.
During a live broadcast of The People’s Assembly by Onua TV during the Nkrumah Fest hosted live from the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, some district assembly members accused him and party members of doing galamsey.
