The much anticipated Axim Kundum Jams scheduled tomorrow has been canceled following some confusion which the Member of Parliament for the Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira Constituency, Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe describes as “biased posturing and doings of the now partisan Axim Kundum Planning Committee “.
In a Facebook post by Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe, a press release signed by Stella Wuddah of the office of the MP explained vividly what led to the cancellation of the event.

The AXIM KUNDUM PLANNING COMMITTEE FRUSTRATES HON KOFI ARKO NOKOE’s 2024 AXIM KUNDUM JAMS
It is very much unfortunate to bring to light the biased posturing and doings of the now partisan Axim Kundum Planning Committee.
The persistent machinations by the new Kundum Planning Committee started with the appointment of Nana Awuza an NPP branch Executive as the Chairman, Emmanuel Nda Kwofie, a former NPP Constituency Executive aspirant as the Secretary and also the inclusion of Judith Korsh, the current NPP Constituency Deputy Women’s Organizer to the committee with a carved in stone mandate to promote the now stale faced NPP Parliamentary Candidate and former Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture.
The first move by this new partisan composed committee was the pushing away of Onua TV as the official Media Partner because of their loud voice against galamsey, an act that the media station vehemently condemns.
Next was the leaving out of the image of Hon Kofi Arko Nokoe, the sitting MP from the official banners for the 2024 Kundum Durbar
Third was the exclusion of Hon KAN again from any of the interviews, documentaries, and adverts being run by MULTI MEDIA on Adom TV or FM but the constant promotion of the defeated former MP and Minister.
The latest being the deliberate frustration of Hon Kofi Arko Nokoe’s long slated KUNDUM SATURDAY NIGHT JAMS by the Axim Kundum Planning Committee through the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) of the Nzema East Assembly after the MP had secured the slot months ago.
Based on the above stated reasons and many more on the glaring biased posturing of the Axim Kundum Planning Committee, Hon Kofi Arko Nokoe (MP) regretfully announces cancellation of the 2024 Axim Kundum jams scheduled for Saturday 14th September 2024 for the sake of the peace and security of the constituency.
