Norwegian club Sogndal IL have announced the signing of versatile Ghana Black Satellites (U-20) youngster Emmanuel Mensah in the ongoing transfer window.
The 19-year old winger has inked a three-and-half-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2027 as a replacement to Ghanaian compatriot Edmund Baidoo who has recently joined Austrian giants FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Mensah joins the Eliteserien League club from Ghana Division One League side, Koforidua Semper Fi Football Club and he is expected to play a major role for his outfits. The highly-rated winger was a key player for Semper Fi last season.
The fleet-footed winger was one of the brightest spot in Coach Desmond Ofei’s squad that won Gold in the All African Games tournament held in Accra, Ghana.
