On Tuesday June 20, the District Chief Executive of Ellembelle, Hon. Kwasi Bonzo and the District Police command arrested 10 persons for allegedly enstoolling a new Paramount Chief in the Eastern Nzema Traditional Council in the person of Awulae Blay IX.
Nine people together with Awulae Blay IX were arrested by the DISEC and were sent to Axim .
The ten persons who were arrested in relation to the alleged unlawful installation of Omanhene of the Eastern Nzema Traditional Area at Adoanebo (Atuabo), Awulae Blay IX were granted bail following their arrangement before the Axim Court.
Each person was granted bail of GHC 50,000 and three persons as sureties for each accused person.
The Atuabo community was in joyous mood on the arrival of the 10 people apprehended by the Police.
