Ellembelle based Ekuzoa Football Club, a progeny to Ekuzoa Media and Shaip Africa Foundations owned by Dr. Clement Clinton Blay has historically qualified for the 2024/25 Western Regional Football Association Division II League and will play in Zone 2 Group B of the WRFA’s division II league.
The club ended it’s quest for the season unbeaten in the just ended league competition, winning all matches.
Speaking to your most authoritative portal, www.Ekuzoanews.com, the Club’s President, Dr. C.C Blay expressed joy at the performance of the team and thanked the Management, Technical team, Playing Body and Supporters for their dedication to the club.
He also mentioned that they are not going into the Division II to observe but rather intend to qualify for the Division One League as soon as possible and that work towards the upcoming 2024/25 has already started.
When asked about their secret in this his historic feat, he attributed it to teamwork and proper administrative structures with highly competent people in management.
He urged other teams to adopt proper management structures for the development of the grassroots game.
Dr. Blay also seized the occasion to call on other committed players that their doors are opened and are warmly welcome to the club.
Coach Micheal Kwaah also lauded the Club’s President for providing all the needed resources to the team; It’s a dream come true to lead this charges to the promise land, our President has solely been helpful to elevate us to this level and we hope to better our performance going forward.
Ekuzoa Football Club is a team based in Nzema Aiyinasi and went undefeated in the Ellembelle/Nzema East Football Association Division III league and were crowned champions after the 2023/24 season.
