Four Ghanaian footballers who rose to fame at FC Nordjaelland are now some of the Danish club’s most expensive transfers ever.

All graduates of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, and Ibrahim Osman have secured big-money moves to top European leagues.

Leading the pack is Mohammed Kudus, who joined West Ham in 2023 after a stint with Dutch giants Ajax for a reported fee of 43 million euro.

Nuamah recently secured a permanent transfer to Lyon for 25 million euro following a successful loan spell last season.

Kamaldeen Sulemana, now playing for Southampton in the Premier League, holds the record for Nordjaelland’s biggest sale at 17 million euro to Stade Rennes in 2021.

The latest addition to this prestigious list is youngster Ibrahim Osman, who just signed with Brighton and Hove Albion for 19.5 million euro.

Ivorian forward Simon Adingra, another Right to Dream Academy graduate, also joins the list with his 8 million euro move to Brighton, showcasing the strong partnership between the Academy and FC Nordjaelland in developing top talents.
