WRFA MIDDLE LEAGUE: Saada Academy’s coach Francis Annan takes a strong swipe at match Officials

Saada Academy’s coach Francis Bedu-Annan was not happy with the match Officials in his side’s 2-1 defeat to Nsuopun Fidelity FC at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinasi.

With a minute left on the clock, the Wassa-Akropong based club sealed the winner through Samuel Osei Kofi who headed home from a corner.

The 35-year old speaking at the post match presser started emphatically that, ” it’s part of the game and sometimes you play well and lose, in all we conceded a very bad goal from the referee, you were all here and saw all what happened on the field, the first goal that they scored if the referee had whistled for a foul it wouldn’t have count. It’s part of the game.”

“We are playing match after match and this one we’ve lost it, so we are going to prepare and comeback in our next game (Nkwantaman FC), he concluded.”

The Adehye Boys will play Nkwantaman FC in Matchday 2 of the Western Regional Football Association super middle league on June 24, 2024.
