Basake Holy Stars’ teenage sensation, Boniface Blay, has earned a call-up to the Ghana U-20 national team, the Black Satellites, and has already joined the camp at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
At just 17 years old, Blay has made a significant impact at Basake Holy Stars with his blistering pace, defensive intelligence, and rare ability to strike from distance. These qualities have quickly established him as one of Nzema football’s brightest young prospects.
Blay’s football journey began at Team Move FC, the academy founded by acclaimed musician Kofi Kinaata, where he honed the technical skills, discipline, and tactical awareness that now define his game. Since joining Basake Holy Stars, he has consistently impressed coaches and fans alike with his composure, fearless approach, and ability to read the game.
The young defender now aims to leave a strong mark on the Black Satellites’ coaching staff, with the hope of becoming an integral part of Ghana’s U-20 setup. His call-up not only highlights his individual talent but also represents a proud moment for Basake Holy Stars and the Nzema football community.
