Serie A outfit Bologna FC have officially completed the signing of promising Ghanaian midfielder Kwesi Sorotu Badori, strengthening their youth ranks for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
The deal includes an option for Bologna to make the move permanent should the 18-year-old impress during his stint in Italy. Badori arrives from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea, where his maturity, composure, and all-action midfield displays have marked him out as one of the league’s standout young talents over the past two campaigns.
Bologna confirmed the acquisition via their official website at the close of the winter transfer window on Monday, February 2.
The teenage midfielder has since returned to Ghana to finalize his work permit and is expected to rejoin his new club shortly, eager to settle quickly and make an immediate impact in Italian football.
Badori has enjoyed an encouraging season, recording two goals in 14 appearances, already surpassing his output from last season, when he scored once in 29 matches. His rapid development and consistent performances have not gone unnoticed, drawing interest from clubs including FC Basel and several sides in Denmark.
Bologna’s move now gives the gifted midfielder a valuable platform to test his abilities on the European stage.
