Newly appointed Swedru All Blacks head coach, Kassim Mingle Ocansey, has expressed immense delight at joining the Central Region club, emphasizing the pivotal role of unity and collective support in achieving success this season.
Officially taking charge on Tuesday, January 27, Ocansey shared his enthusiasm during his first press interaction. “I’m thrilled to be here, and I will need the unwavering support of the management. They must stand by me fully,” he stated, underscoring the importance of a collaborative approach. He added with conviction, “I cannot succeed alone. True success will come only if we work together.”
The experienced Ghanaian tactician, celebrated for his previous stints at Nations FC and Bechem United, reiterated his commitment to teamwork. “I’m delighted to join the club, and I intend to cooperate fully with everyone to achieve the results we aspire for,” he noted, signalling his ambition to forge strong, harmonious ties with the club’s existing structure.
Ocansey faces an immediate challenge as he prepares for his managerial debut. Swedru All Blacks will clash with Gold Stars in Week 21 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, February 1, presenting him with an early platform to implement his vision and showcase the strength of a united front.
